Barbier moved to Versailles in July 1821, but continued to write down to Pignier about his technique. He also donated quite a few sets of the required products to the school. Pignier responded cordially but coolly for many a long time, and at some point stopped replying.However, Barbier's process represented a workable prototype of creating with ra
